Vintage Wood Nativity Wall Hanging – Mid-Century Scandinavian-Style Silhouette

Vintage wood Nativity wall hanging featuring a layered silhouette of Mary, Joseph and the Christ Child beneath a star. The warm wood finish, simplified figures and dimensional construction give the piece a distinctly mid-century, Scandinavian-inspired character.

Materials & Details: Wood; layered Holy Family silhouette; star motif; warm natural-toned finish; built-in wall hanger
Style: Mid-century style / Scandinavian-inspired / minimalist Christmas decor

Why the Scandinavian connection? Mid-20th-century Scandinavian design favored natural materials, clean silhouettes and decoration that allowed the material itself to remain visible. This Nativity uses that same visual language: very little ornament, recognizable figures reduced to simple shapes, and wood doing most of the decorative work.

Measurements: approximately 9.5" diameter
Weight: approximately 0.6 lb

Condition: Good vintage pre-owned condition with light age-related wear. There is a visible repaired crack on the back/right side, shown in the photos. The repair does not affect the front display, and the piece was reported to hang securely in the existing listing information. Please review all photos carefully.

Era note: No maker or exact production date has been identified. Mid-century and Scandinavian are used as informed style context based on the construction, simplified silhouette and natural-wood design rather than as a documented attribution.
